Welcome to Eagle Mills Fire District 1
The Eagle Mills Volunteer Fire Department responds to fire, motor vehicle accidents, EMS and other emergency calls in the
Eagle Mills Fire District and surrounding areas. In addition to responding to emergency calls, the Eagle Mills Volunteer Fire
Department takes part in various community service activities including: parades, open houses, fire prevention, EMS standbys
at sporting and other special events.
Our ranks are comprised entirely of volunteers who sacrifice their energy, time and personal safety, to protect the lives and
property of The Eagle Mills Community.
Being a volunteer firefighter these days has never been more of a challenge. Between the time required for training,
meetings, responding to calls, maintenance duties, community outreach programs, social events, family commitments and
real jobs, it is a wonder how the volunteers get it all done, but they do, and they do it well. The Volunteers at Eagle Mills Fire
are dedicated to be ready to roll with top of the line emergency equipment and with professionally trained personnel to respond
to any 911 incident. In 2009 Eagle Mills Fire responded to more than 300 calls and logged in over 2000 training hours.
