Eagle Mills Fire Department is always looking for new members!
There are many ways to serve your community, either as a volunteer firefighter or volunteer associate member.
There are many reasons to join the fire service; here are just a few:
- Quality Training – Free local and county training, NYS certified courses, regional and national seminars and conferences. You have the opportunity to experience every angle of emergency services. Training is free.
- Service Award Program: Earn a pension-like reward, based upon your service to your community!
- Dress Uniforms – Look professional and show your pride in your dress uniform as you stand or march along side your brothers and sisters in parades and different functions throughout the year.
- Social Events – Throughout the year we offer a variety of opportunities for you and your family to get to know the other members of your department in a relaxing atmosphere. This includes conventions, parades, parties and fund-raisers!
- Being a volunteer firefighter provides an opportunity to serve your community, your neighbors, and your friends, when their lives and property are at risk and when they need help the most.
- Stop in on any Monday evening at 7pm and talk to an officer to see how you can become a volunteer.
